Protester sets themself on fire near Israeli consulate in Atlanta

An unidentified man or woman set fire to themself outside the Israeli consulate in the US city of Atlanta, sustaining severe injuries. A security guard who tried to intervene was also injured.


A Palestinian flag was found at the scene, with Atlanta police saying the move was ‘likely an extreme act of political protest.’
