Protesters demand UN mission leave the DRC

Hundreds of people gathered in front of the logistics base of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO) in Goma to demand the organization’s departure from the country.

MONUSCO has long been criticized by the people of the DRC for its inability to bring peace to the war-torn region.
