Protests in Sri Lanka amid crisis lead to new clashes

Colombo residents once again rallied through the city demanding the release of a former student at Sri Lanka’s Inter-University Students Federation who took part in clashes with police. The scuffles came amid the ongoing economic crisis gripping the country.
