Public workers protest demanding higher wages in Berlin

Hundreds of public workers marched through Berlin, demanding wage increases as a nationwide strike started on Thursday.

Organized by Germany’s United Services Trade Union, the march was joined by a wide range of employees of the public services such as waste management, hospitals, and water utility companies.
