Putin and Lukashenko praise Russia and Belarus' ‘synergy’

Vladimir Putin met with Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko to discuss key points of Russia-Belarus relations and development.

The presidents have stated around $50bn worth of goods and services were exchanged between the two nations, as Moscow and Minsk look to transcend barriers being set up by the West. Vladimir Putin said that Belarus has the capacity for production and Russia the demand.
