I'm late 50s and a couple years ago decided to learn basic baking. Now I make my own pizza & a few breads, sourdough, white... Every young man might even start with pizza dough. It's not that difficult and will be immediately very useful & money saving. Also, it will naturally lead to other baking efforts. I wish I had taken initiative to learn this way younger.
