Rocket Lab launches satellite, helicopter booster catch fails

Rocket Lab has launched its Electron rocket carrying a science research satellite from New Zealand's Mahia Peninsula. The mission, called ‘Catch me if you can’ was unsuccessful in its attempt to retrieve the first-stage booster using parachutes and a helicopter. However, the Electron deployed the satellite an hour after lift-off as planned.
