Russia tears up Soviet-era fishing agreement with UK

Russia has revoked an almost seven-decade deal with the UK and Northern Ireland, which allowed their trawlers to catch cod and haddock – used in fish and chips – in the Barents Sea. Some are calling it a shrewd move by Putin, with Moscow essentially sanctioning the UK and a celebrated national dish.
