Russian MoD shows off ballistic missile launch

The Russian Ministry of Defense has published new footage demonstrating the operation of the Iskander missile system in the Ukrainian conflict. The target is a training base for foreign mercenaries.

The footage shows soldiers calculating a firing solution before launching the missile. According to the lead operator, the firing was a success. ‘The building, 60 meters long, was almost completely destroyed,’ he said.

The Iskander missile system is known for its high portability, quick launch capability, and ability to launch either cruise or ballistic missiles at hypersonic speeds.
