MGTOW, Red PIll, Incels, Black Pill and PUA all sound the same to me. Can you even be a MGTOW and a Monk? Maybe the real monks just outgrew the manosphere...

Invincibility Fable:
The invincibility fable (or personal fable) is a type of thought pattern that is noted most frequently in teenagers. It is an egocentric way of thinking that is characterized by a belief of indestructibility; that they won't get caught when doing wrong and that they won't be hurt (or killed) by engaging in risky behaviors. This is part of why teenagers do things that older people consider foolishly dangerous or even stupid. This is believed to be partially caused by the incomplete development of the frontal lobe of the brain which controls and mediates the understanding of consequences.

Copied from discussion - "While we hypothesize that the personal fable is a transient developmental phenomenon, for some young people it may well be an abiding personal trait."
