Russian Su-35 surprises US F-16s near Alaska

Don’t you just hate it when someone is driving slowly in the overtaking lane, but also it’s the sky and you’re in an Su-35? The US military shared just such an incident, after a pair of F-16s were surprised by a Russian Su-35 somewhere near Alaska. The video, filmed on September 23, was described by NORAD as two F-16s on a ‘safe and disciplined intercept of Russian Military Aircraft.’ The video itself shows one of the pilots yelling a muffled ‘HOLY F**K’ as the Su-35 surprises them from behind them, flies between them, and races off into the distance.

NORAD described the conduct of the Su-35 as ‘unprofessional’ and ‘not what you’d see in a professional air force.’ Yes, NORAD, but you didn’t see them until it was too late, did you?
