Russian warships arrive in Indonesia to hold first ever joint naval drills

In the run-up to their first ever bilateral drills, warships from the Russian Navy's Pacific Fleet paid a friendly call to Indonesia's ports. The joint exercise called 'Orruda 2024' will be held from November 4th to 8th in the port of Surabaya and include maneuvering, firing, and a practice release of a ship hijacked by pirates.
