Samsung TV owners accidentally destroy their TVs by removing ‘screen protector’

Samsung TVs are appealing. In fact, they’re ap-peeling right off the screen and onto the floor. The quest for the bezel-less television has resulted in several casualties, with social media addicts revealing how they accidentally destroyed their fancy new sets by peeling off a screen protector… only to realize it wasn’t a screen protector at all. TikTok user Kelsey (she has the word ‘studio’ in her handle, so you know she’s definitely a real person) revealed that she accidentally peeled off the polarizer from her new LCD television thinking it was a plastic screen protector, and completely destroyed it. Or she could have just stuck it back on with a squeegee and some dish soap, but that’s beside the point.

Apparently, she’s not the only one to have destroyed her television by picking at it like a monkey searching for head lice. Literally, some people commented saying that, in the process of installing their televisions they too started picking at the sides and pulled something off they really shouldn’t have pulled off. Samsung apparently have replaced the television (because remember, she’s a real TikTok user and Samsung aren’t doing it to point out how good their customer service is), meanwhile ‘Kelsey’ has called on Samsung to put stickers on the TV to say that there aren’t stickers on the TV.

If this is the trend that replaces ‘TV mounted way too high above a fireplace’ then we’re all for it.
