Journalist Nora Vincent's world was crushed when she learned nothing she knew about men was real, and women had many of the flaws she thought men had.

Myths and bullshit. Maybe male comradery was true for the boomers and gen x, but it's not for younger generations. Men less than 40 talk shit behind each other's backs all of the time. I even see older men do it just to stir shit, get vagina approval points, and take out others for the sake of it.

I appreciate her efforts to understand what it is to be a man and this just illustrates that women aren't cut out for the same exact things in life. Men and women are not the same. TWRA.

Society threw me out of the box decades ago, so now I'm able to really think "OUT OF THE BOX" big time. so much so I avoid mnost of lifes pitfalls that those who follow have to endure.

You are right about the Father's love. My Dad could nbe an Asshole at times but when he was good is when he taught me how to fix things and I would stand on the car bumper as a little kid and he would show me how to check oil and water and stuff. when my own daughter was little I was already divorced and yet I got my rights and I taught her to draw, paint play piano and Guitar, use a PC. She's in her 30's now, haven't seen her in decades, I've got a Granddaughter I've never seem. Her mother poisoned her with got knows what when she was 14y/o, up to then everyone said we were tow peas in a pod and we laughed and went out to steam train and museum day's and such. but that is long gone. but I did hear that she still did those things with her daughter. do I feel sad or bitter, HELL no that's the past and stress I no longer have. I'm asked would I help my daughter if she came to me? Well NOPE! it's been to long that connection was shattered, I have no responsibility or obligation to her at all. there is no way I would remotely punish myself anymore for nothing. i haven't even made a Will when I'm gone fuck it all my shit wont be my responsibility anymore so I don't care. I'm not leaving anything to the undeserving either.

Pounded out is the wrong word, Adaptation is a better word. when you cant move forward or get something sorted, there comes a time occasionally you MUST for your own good walk away. all the Emotional MAN things like Empathy and Compassion are still there, but they are now buried deep in the subconscious because othe manipulation has been put where they should be. This comes in the form or questioning if to help or not? What is the consequence of my action to me if I get involved. That has replaced Empathy or at least delayed the implementation of it due to thios feminis and fefail delusion MEN are BAD. If a Guy looks or say's the wrong thing to a women it can cost him his liberty, so as sure as fuck MEN or any MAN of his OWN worth will avoid, and avoid he will. I do and I feel no guilt in it. We live in a Self Prteservation Society NOW. This has been created behiund MEN's backs so good MEN have adapted to safety and safe places. I may still have the urge to jump in a river to save a women, but that lapse in time I would have to consider my actions toward me and my well being would probably cause that women to drown. So it is better to avoid strife and problems. you probably would not even get a thank you anyway in these entitled non responsibility times? I've read of MEN that have saved women (even Paramnedics), and found themselves in Court because they Bruised the women in the treatment? Fuck that, better off NOT getting involved and have a sweet and trouble free life guy's
