Shopping Trolley Follies

I think the supermarket managers idiotically insane bullshit - just got to me and got to the point where it was unsustainable - or where NO MORE could be accepted or lived with.

They priced their meat so high, no one would buy it.. So they left it there 3 weeks after the useby date until it was green, shiny and rotten. So rather than lift their entire game - to undercut the competition by 5 or 10%, and introduce quick sales with a significant price cut, for meat approaching the Use By Date, and throwing the rest out... They just stopped getting in meat. It's a supermarket right.

The powdered milk wasn't selling at $17 Kg when it was $10 a kilo everywhere else - So just stop selling it.

Frozen vegetables averaged prices from everywhere else $3.50 Kg, they sold two varieties for $8Kg.

20Kg from the butchers @$14Kg = $280 ------ $20Kg from Bumfuckistan @$30 Kg = $600
5Kg of powdered milk from everywhere else @$10Kg = $50 ----- 5Kg from from Bumfuckistan @$17Kg = $85
20Kg of vegetables from everywhere else $3.50 Kg = $70 ----- 20 Kg @ $8 Kg = $160
Instant noodles from Aldi $1.80 for a 5 pack ----- $4.80 from Bumfuckistan = x 5 packs = $9 vs $24.

And everything else had a similar pricing.

So far and only from this list the totals are:

Everywhere else $409 Vs. $869 in the Bumfuckistan Supermarket...

If you did a $500 shop everywhere else, then in Bumfuckistan your easily paying $1200.....

"Why are people driving past my store? Why are they not stopping here?"

How many guesses and over how many more years, do you want?

And exactly how do you do a MONTHS shopping - in a place that has NO shopping trollies....

This crazy managers fucking bullshit - is just too much.

They won't or cannot change - the crazy is locked in... and with fuck all sales, and fuck all customers, they will continue to defend their idiot ideas to the death....

I just walked out - I just left the whole situation behind me......
