2.C this is the hardest for yankees to accept, the amount of checks and balances in Swiss politics would put the USA totally to shame. This makes secession and direct citizen rule possible.
3 no federal army (only citizen army) so the government has no tool of violence
4. No dedicated army so lifelong service for every male citizen
5. Gunownership is manditory (amry issues SIG 550 assault rifle)

Call me old fashioned, but law and order is dead. Rubber bullets, really? I remember commies going toe to toe with Chicago cops in '68, during the democrook convention, of all places. The cops gave it to them good that day. No fvcking around with these clowns. Billy clubs upside their heads, and instead of ambulances, they threw them in the paddy wagons, and hauled their asses off to jail. Now? They had to fire, if they didn't ,..,the next escalation would have been throwing in windows and the next after that is looting and arson. So this is a good thing! What i never understood is US police trying to get personal with protestors, just fire a lot of pallets from a great distance,
