‘Solntsepyok’: the secret weapon with a secret weapon

On the Krasny Liman front, soldiers from the Central Military District (CMD) deployed the TOS-1A ‘Solntsepyok’ heavy flamethrower system to destroy a Ukrainian army stronghold and its equipment. According to ‘Vega,’ the gunner responsible for the mission, the ‘Solntsepyok’ was devastatingly effective, hitting enemy fuel depots and fortified areas with just two shots, and incinerating enemy battalions in just one mission.

Slight problem: it’s big. Big enough to make a tempting target. The crew have mere minutes to complete their task, but their secret weapon has a secret weapon: a metal anti-drone net that literally catches enemy fire. This combination of firepower and defense makes the ‘Solntsepyok’ one of the most ruthless battlefield weapons. As commander ‘Samoyami’ put it, ‘the enemy can hide from artillery…but they can't hide from TOS.’
