Victory isn’t achieved through mediocrity or socialist extortion. It’s achieved when you never give up. Listen to an old salty dog tell you how it is.

Powerful video.

My life struggle likely originated from never knowing what I really wanted out life. It’s like saying you want “success and prosperity” but never actually defining what it is.

I pursued goals thinking it would bring me joy, fulfillment, happiness, but all I ever did was make a mess of things. It was when I started having serious anxiety attacks that a therapist/counselor asked, “What do you want out of life?” I told him I wanted to be happy, and I realized a career couldn’t give me what I really wanted from life.

There was a lot of turmoil in my life…no contentment. One day, I basically accepted that my ambitions always took me down the wrong path. So I surrendered to the universe and said I no longer wanted my way and was open to what the universe wanted to give me. From that day forward, things got easier, and door started to open…as if I was the one always getting in the way of my happiness.

Yeah, I’m not as wealthy or “successful” as some I associate with, but when I look at a new car, or more impressive job title, I ask myself, “Will obtaining that truly make me happy or just give me a temporary boost?” I find most everything the world offers is just chasing the next “high” to feed an endorphin addiction. I frankly get more happiness from walking my dogs than I do from getting some award at work.

So many "educated" people are dumb as a bag of hammer's. The "education system" is about creating good and obedient worker's. The only thing that matters to educator's care about is following orders not that the answers are correct.
