There is a section of track, on a long incline.......
You see locomotives have sanding gear - to spray sand on the track to gain traction when the rails are slippery.
But they ONLY carry so much.
IF the incline is long enough, I am thinking that they just might just run out of sand, and be unable top complete the climb.
I don't want to do destructive malicious shit, for the sake of doing it. BUT I would like to grease these rails just so see what happens... Sort of like a combination of scientific appraisal and something that is a bit naughty, but harmless, an inside joke.... so to speak.
Mostly because this is how you gain knowledge of friction, lubricants, traction, loss of traction and how much can a locomotive pull, the degree of incline, how well lubricated the tracks are, what are the best and least effective lubricants etc..
I'd like to do it to gain the understanding... and once a full assessment is performed - meh... just move onto something else.
