Stockton Rush: The Poster Child of Boomers?

Stockton was a fool.

It's perfectly safe to dive down to the Titanic - with the water pressure on the hull being some 6,000 psi - provided you have a submarine, designed for such depths and it's serviced and maintained to keep it's sea-worthiness and fitness for such missions.

When I looked at the design and the way it was built and assembled, I immediately had many misgivings.

His design was fine for 200 or 300 PSI (off flue infested head - 200 - 300 meters) but not for 6000 PSI (5000 - 6000 meters).

Stockton - He was a Boomer, but he wasn't an Out-ee Boomer, He was an In-ee Boomer - just like his submarine.
