Streets blocked in Colombo fuel protests

Citizens blocked streets in Colombo demanding fuel and gas, as shortages of the resources have sparked rallies in Sri Lanka. Protesters were also demanding the resignation of the government over its mismanagement of the crisis, reportedly the worst for the country since it gained independence in 1948.
