All this cleverness - and fine tuning.

I noted that the take off timing is fairly tight, and in the OLD DAYS, the pilots would go to the end of the runway, STOP and pause, and then perform all their preflight checks, and then consult with the tower with their flight plans and obtain clearance to take off......

And now they come around to the start of the runway, with a rolling start, everything is ready to go and they just floor it....


So all of these processes are going on in the back ground, computerised in plane checks, consultation with the tower and air craft monitoring systems at the air port etc..

And 10 million rolling starts, means 10 million stops that did not need to be made, 10 million brake applications, and 10 million extra fuel uses, to get the plane moving again... and 10 million pauses and system checks and calls to the tower etc., and 10 million less time to pay wages for etc....

All cleverly done and finely tuned.
