A security guard at a US store was forced to intervene when a customer began demanding free groceries as ‘reparations’, but the situation quickly spiraled out of control.

The incident happened in October, when Karen Ivery began to demand her grocery bill, which came to over $1,000, was waived in the name of ‘reparations’. She also demanded to speak to the manager, in true Karen style. According to the subsequent police report, Ivery first asked the manager for ‘reparations’ (free stuff) and grew angry as she walked ‘aggressively’ towards the manager when her request was refused.

That’s when security guard Zach Cotter was forced to intervene, asking Ivery to calm down and leave the store. Instead, Ivery began screaming and followed Cotter to his office, forcing her way in. That’s when Cotter threw a punch.

After reviewing footage of the incident, authorities determined Ivery was the ‘aggressor’ and she was placed under arrest. She was ultimately sentenced to a day in jail and charged $110 for disorderly conduct. No one knows what happened to the groceries.

She isn't innocent. And what exactly does she deserve reparations for? That's like me demanding money from European nations because Rome enslaved my forefathers.
