I value simplicity and reliability over anything else. The more complicated the car the more possibilities there are of things going wrong.

That's actually a really good point, which is probably the whole reason why they're going to move to a subscription service in the future for these types of vehicles, because owning a vehicle like this there are just too many things for the average person to keep track of or have a knowledge base of, what will likely happen is you will never own these vehicles, you will pay to use them and to Insurance them while you use them, the company will likely have to pay for everything else when it comes to maintenance when it comes to possible car crashes they probably won't even allow people to drive at that point, because you don't own the vehicle, you were just renting it just to go to the store or something. It will be pretty much what Uber is or a taxi, you could probably pay more money to keep it in the lot while you grab your groceries and then when you got your groceries it'll come and pick up you and your groceries and then take you home. Anyway that's my theory of where this will lead eventually. I I don't think it's there yet, but that's the goal I would think, but it would be all cars on the road not just the one you use.
