Testing Vintage: 1970's Breville Melitta Automatic Coffee Machine (but it also makes tea!)
Let's test out another vintage gadget! I've had this 1970's never used Breville Melitta automatic coffee machine in my house for quite a while and I figured that it should be tested to see how it works. Now I'm not actually a coffee drinker and I don't really make coffee and I've never used an automatic machine before. So what could possibly go wrong? Oh well, it's just another vintage adventure.

Currently cleaning out my old one at the moment - the grunge has clogged up the boiler tube... cleaning it out with weak bleach (chlorine + "sodium hydroxide" = NOT good for aluminium), and compressed air.... converting it to a LOW temperature cooking element for small pots as well. The induction cookers only go down to 200W when ~80W will do, and it will stay on all day.... where as MOST induction cookers only run for 3 hours max.
It's good for coffee and tea and putting a small pot of stew on... Get your water hot and throw in some meat and long cookers and come back in a few hours...
Also Mrs High IQ Feminist - I just fill the pot with water, add tea bags and come back when the water is both HOT and DARK = the tea is made.
She lacks that savage mindset that comes with designing, modifying and making your own gear.
More of a simple girly - good for anal and domestics etc.
Not much else.
And contrary to the usual vulgar and unfuckable Aussie Feminist Retard, she seems nice.
