The Big Freeze of 1963 Remembered

Thought this would be apt in the CLIMATE of the Cost of living troubles and possible UK power out's. when this Documentary was made I was 5/6 years onld, we lived in the Yourshire Dales with a bungalow, Cafe and Petrol Staion. Yes we did have the RAF Helicopter in some supplies to use just the once, BUT we jusat got on with it. Today the heating prices go up and society collapses. to this day this winter will be like any other that I learned to survive. Layers of loose clothing, keeping one room warn and liveable, plenty of stock and food, a spare can of petrol. Learned everyone of these things from what you see on this video. Peoiple today are PUSSIES, they would spend money (othat isn't theirs anyway) on a new TV or phone ratherthan cutback and exist comfortably. Whatever happened to the human spirit? Few of use seem to have it these day's. Anyway, I can relate directly to this video as a 6 years old and I survived and millions of other's must have as well?
