@3:20 - I'm gonna call bullshit on this assertion. The IDF isn't "not adequately distinguishing between [targets]"; there IS NO DIFFERENCE to them. The statement was framed as if the IDF has some external circumstance preventing them from distinguishing from military and civilians, which is clearly not the case. She even referred to civilians AS "targets." I'd be hard-pressed to think of a situation in which non-combatants are correctly labeled as targets of a military garrison.

@15:11 - Again, bullshit. The only reason to use white phosphorus to hide troop movements is if an OPFOR has thermal imaging tech, as white phosphorus interferes/obfuscates with IR signatures. There are alternative and effective smoke-deploying weapons that can mask troop movements other than white phosphorus; I seriously doubt the Gazan general population is running around with head-mounted infrared modules.

Can you, Shane, or anyone else reading this--especially those with combat experience in theater--give me your insights? Intuitively, my assertion seems logical...but being a crude carbon-based organic construct, I'm far from infallible.
