Early winter wasn't that bad. Late winter/early spring was worse. That's when food, wood and other stores started running out. And thing's hadn't started regrowing.

Oh BTW Bacchus is a Roman deity. The Dionysus is the Greek version. And Dionysus was taken from the Persian east. I studied in depth of pagan deities.

He left out Krampus. There's a really creepy character.

The more I know, the more ignorant I am... I have no experience living in freezing climates, yes when I was young puddles would freeze during the night, but wouldn't last long. I don't have the concept of not having food growing all year. What you said makes sense.

@The Man Inside: I wish I could grow food year round. I thought I knew cold but since moving north I've gotten to know a new definition of cold. It's currently -16°C and feels like -20°C.

@Councilof1: Those low temperatures are inconceivable to me. Anything below 10° is unpleasant to me. Anything negative... No. Just no. I like my fingertips and nose as they are.

I don't use the term "god". It means a divine entity, people associate it with all powerful, omnipresent, benevolent entity. Yet, look around. Evil always prevail. Creator, yes. Just one, or more? I don't know.

PREPARE!! PREPARE!!!! heheh.. I live in Florida! . . just sitting here counting my money and how I can make it to the next paycheck without spending any of it. .lol.. I got these weeds in my yard some people call mexican clover, ,others call it Florida Snow.,, but it is an invasive species that destroys yards.. I made a heavy duty trailer to pull with my mower.. bought a 55 gallon blue drum .. and a 1200 gph bilge pump.. These godam weeds have come out worse than ever this year.. and I have found liquid herbicides that WILL destroy the shit once and for all.. HELL is coming for them weeds SOON.. I'ma try atrazine first then go to the expensive stuff next if needed.. I like a healthy yard and think I have it figured out now.. those fcukin weeds destroy new developments grass all over.. My floratam grass should be resistant to atrazine.. I tried weed n feed , ,and it kills the weeds just for them to come bvack 3 times more.. Santas gonna be on a Husqvarna 54" mower with 26HP Kohler this season. .

I'm the real deal.. my mower has a safety switch on the seat that stops the engine when you stand up , I detached it and screwed a piece of metal over the plunger switch so I can get off the mower while the engine is running .. I have 30' of small shop vac hose I will use on that bilge pump.. Should be able to walk around 70' with it.. I will need some kind of sprayer end for it though. .maybe with a wand. .that can be PVC.. I could stay on the mower and control it with the power switch.. I think I can manage walking it out..

The 55 gallon barrels are only 30 bucks at rural king.. I bought 2 of them.. the 2nd one I will bury out by my shop to be a septic tank.. dig a big hole big enough to put drain rock around it,, about a foot I think.. then drill holes in the top 10" of the barrel.. so the liquid can drain out into the rock.. gravity should keep the solids in the lower part of the barrel.. feed it some ridx maybe . .lol.. ya, it should work fine.. I did that before at a vacant lot I had with a building..
