The Hypocrisy of Single Moms

Hmm... she said soul mate, life's partner... I think she met her life's financier...

One of the most common statements these women make is, "If you love her, it shouldn't matter." This is women encapsulated: they don't process the fact that this is another human being that requires food, clothing, medical care, et al. Or *more than one* additional human with those requirements. And that assumes that the children are healthy. Plus there's no guarantee that his investments in those things won't be yanked out from under him at any arbitrary moment for any arbitrary reason--particularly if he's grown to love the kids.

Single mothers, in my own experience, beat the drum that they're only concerned for their kids--only then to turn around and toss the kids aside for their social lives. How very much less for the men they're using for provision and protection. Call this by name and "you hate women!" or "you're attacking the most vulnerable because (insert shaming language)!" And now that men talk with one another and share these experiences, it's happening SO much less...
