One thing that makes me cringe is when tfm talks about how we need to bring back monasteries for men who just want to check out of society. Monasteries are still a thing, and tfm himself, could join one, provided he converts to Catholicism and throws his sex doll away. (I know that Tfm wasn't saying HE wanted to join one, in just using him as an example) there is nothing keeping anyone from joining a monastery. But it takes all your freedom away, so most people don't want to.
