The rise of terrorism in Africa | Africa Now with Paula Slier
In this episode of ‘Africa Now’ we look at the rise of instability and terrorism in Africa, and ask the question who is responsible for it. For this reason we’ve chosen Kenya.
This east African country has experienced some of the worst violent extremism in recent history. Most of the attacks have been conducted by the al-Shabaab terrorist group, or their sympathizers, crossing over from Somalia, which neighbors Kenya to the east.
We talk to experts, survivors of terror and government officials.
