These video series go from the "Size of the known and observed universe" - with the best of the technology we had from the 80's - the Hubble space Telescope.

The intial set is about the size of the observed or known universe.

The second set is the series on the issues of rocket engines, rockets and rocket development and production.

The third set is an of array of information about and from the Hubble Telescope - the technology and the images.

And the fourth set is about the ADVANCES in space telescopes beyond the Hubble Teescope - being the James Webb Sace Telescope.

And the fifth video is about the Euclid Space Telescope

The James Webb Space Telescope and the Euclid Space Telescope are two different research tools - with very different purposes and technologies...

All though the Hubble was up and operational in the early 1980's - there was a prodigious amount of planning, design and then the building of it and then the optical correction of it, after launching...

The James Webb and the Euclid Space Telescopes have also had prodigious lead times in their planning, design, construction and development - but they had a big foundation to build upon - better questions to ask and better understandings and technology to do the further research with, and futher and deeper issues to research....

It's a bit like, "How deep is a very deep hole?" - that can only be solved by figuring out the acceleration rate of gravity and the speed of sound, and then dropping a rock down the hole... and timing the release time and the sound of the rock hitting bottom... Maths.. or using a very slong strong piece of string - but the materials and the weaving technologies have to be developed - so the string is both long enough and strong enough to each the bottom....

And the ladder to reach the bottom - you need the steel, the manufacturing technology and the ways to drill holes in the rocks and to bolt them to the rock, to attach the ladder to the rock, on the way down - and the technical development to do all of this and to construct it....

There is staggering amounts of smarts, research, development and insights, and everything has a foundation of everything before it.

These are really worth watching.

They are a bit out of date in some aspects... but they are completely relevant....

Very simple - but it gets the ideas in your head - that just cannot be dealt with....

There is too much.

This is what I mean - when I say if your in a totally dark place, no full moon, no city lights etc., and if you look up the night sky and go "Wow! - Look at all the stars!"

And there are LOTS of them.

But when you don't even have proper astronomical gear to see other planets etc., such as fairly decent binoculars or a fairly strong cheap spotting scope etc., and then look at the night sky - and ALL you can see is horizon to horizon - billions and billions of stars and galaxies.....

And the whole night sky is crammed with them - so much so, they are crammed in like sprinkles on fairy bread.

But with the images from the new James Webb Telescope - the numbers of EVERYTHING out there - are just too huge, the distances are too huge, and the time scales are enormous...

And just the sheer amounts are beyond calculation and they are way beyond comprehension.

Good one.

Now I want to go buy a really good telescope :-)

Telescopes - and good optical equipment to make great pictures..... I am in two minds about them. There are total enthusiasts and some of them have deep pokcets etc... and then there are keen but casually interested people.... This is one of those interests, that IF your really interested, and want to get all specialist about it - you can throw a LOT of money at it - like a REAL lot and you can get spectacular results..... AND then there are the more basic set ups, that can give a insteresting start, and they can kind of start the itch to get better and do better. My first ever proper telescope was a 60 x spotting scope that enabled me to see the craters side on - on the moon - and they were fucking HUGE...... This is where I found the limits of the 60x spotting scope AND the issues about STABLE mounts (cheap chinese mounts = lacking) and proper camera to scope mounts (cheap chinese = total bullshit) Moon plus Telescope plus Camera https://www.mgtow.tv/v/brVQVx - I had to include some better images etc.. done by others... AND the limits of the spotting scope - well you can have a good look at the moon - but then it just lacks light gathering area to do anything than impressive tiny spots - for Mars and Venus etc.. amongst all the other spots, and they don't look the least planet like - only faint spots. Look up on this site, "Telescope" "Hubble" "James Webb" etc. and "adaptive optics" is in there somewhere.

This is just how far into "Just how far is Brilliant" that we have gotten - The NEW Euclid Space Telescope - Resolution 500 m at 10 billion light years. https://www.mgtow.tv/v/LWMfnB ---- There are LOTS of amateur astronomy clubs around.... AND there are some "full on" hobby people / clubs / univerity / NASA fans and all that - that that do have BIG public access telescopes.... where you can peer through it.... I have no idea of your area and what is available..... https://astronomy.org.au/educa....tion/observatories-p What YOU can SEE with a -140-000 TELESCOPE- https://www.mgtow.tv/v/2SAHFA

I have added a pinned comment ABOVE - that has videos 1 to 8 of the size of the known or observed universe - at that time..... They are simple. They are easy to understand. And they cause brain damage...... So much "universe" sized information gets inside your mind - and like fuck - simple pictures and narration and there is SO much...... Fuck.... It's really incredible.....
