As he said films are a visual medium and it's not just about the stories, films by Nolan, Lynch or Tarkovsky wold not quite work as books. Even Kubrick whose films were based on books were often quite different from the source material. You can get as much engagement from great acting, visuals and music as a good story in a book.
It's not just about entertainment, movies are an art form. But TFM obviously doesn't get it since he has pleb taste in movies and used to like shit like Star Wars.

TFM has this weird mindset that you need to be constantly productive and efficient and can't take time to just do something you enjoy. Audio books are nice but if he feels the need to multitask then he can't really focus on the story and details. And then people will complain that people nowadays have low attention spans lol.
Taking a nap is truly much more productive lmao, no wonder he suffers from insomnia.
Does he also consider manga comics waste of time? Playing gacha slop is truly much more productive.
