The Working Man's Breakfast

A theme on our channel is trying to understand what people ate regularly. In the comments section, you folks ask us what “common folks” had for meals almost every single day. Sometimes we hope that their meals were very unlike ours today, maybe they were wildly bizarre, or perhaps very plain and boring. This is what we have found to be the working man's breakfast.

The knife being used at 6:36 is a Jeff White knife, you can find a similar style here https://www.townsends.us/produ....cts/premium-trade-kn

Patty cakes huh? We can definitely replace pancakes with patty cakes... make them proteinated or more keto friendly...I have some recipes and keto syrup... and Kodak proteinated pancake and waffle mix...

Hmmm. I say we go full MGTOW, B4L, or MWA and replace oatmeal, cream of wheat, Cocoa Wheats, and uhm he said cornmeal right? as a porridge and call the tasty water gruel... "Maybe, I'll make some tasty water gruel with some butter and a side of sausage or bacon..." and watch the girls freak out!? "OMG, what are these incelss eating?! It sounds terrible!" Add in a fresh egg hard or soft... too. We might as well: Atleast, the funny part, we aren't lying by changing the meaning of words...

I think we could add grits to tasty water gruel too...

Water gruel... sounds like Cream of Wheats... I liked Cocoa Wheat... pretty fast to make... sometimes add peanut butter but usually sugar and milk. So, you like cooking shows? Good man.

I am thinking of adding more keto friendly or low to sugarless dishes as videos when I make them. I am debating how to record them and what recipes to do or try out..

Nutmeg! Sorry I had to say it. He's kind of obsessed with nutmeg.

I like oatmeal for breakfast. I'm going to try using milk instead of water.

@Councilof1: I make fresh oatmeal at least once a week through boiling water added to it with both steel cut and regular oatmeal and top it off with some oatmeal and Stevie and Almond milk or milk...

@WMHarrison94: Flax meal sounds interesting. I like adding fresh fruit when it's in season.

@Councilof1: fruit? I never thought of that. I think it's flax meal... I have flax seeds, glaxmeal, and chia seeds my GI doc said I should eat with my keto like diet... but I kind of stopped eating up the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese I was using up...I used to add it to.

@WMHarrison94: sorry... I do add walnuts too and I used to do brown sugar, but now brown Stevie sugar replacement. I also use Nestlé Toll House Chocolate Chip cookie recipe substituting keto flour, Stevie chocolate chips and stevia white and brown for the sugar. 3 teaspoon size dough balls is one serving and it's like a fourth or an eighth the carbs/calories...
