During a speech at the Davos World Economic Forum, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called for increased arms supplies to Kiev, suggesting that providing heavy weaponry to Ukraine would be the only way to end the conflict.

Steve Gill, a talk show host and political commentator, says peace is not actually the objective for the West in this conflict, but an attempt to hurt Russia.
