THIS WAS ALWAYS THE PLAN! ADL Asks Congress To CONTROL Gamers! The Sweet Baby Inc Fallout Continues!

Gamergate always has one objective: silence and control the video game community and regulate them. The reason is simple. Video games compose the largest section of the entertainment industry and therefore gamers wield a ton of power, not just socially but culturally and politically. After the Sweet Baby Inc kerfuffle blew up, journalists jumped on the opportunity to use the story to boost their own profiles, and now, other agencies are chiming in. The ADL has called for Congress to regulate gaming spaces because of "hate and extremism", however the reality is gaming spaces are no more extreme than any other, and there is almost no evidence that suggests people become radical extremists because of online gaming.

However, the gaming industry is the largest segment in the entertainment industry, and that's a large amount of power if anyone can wield it and control it. Tis a sad chapter in the current culture war, but definitely one we saw coming.
