I am actually one of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence - because I like dressing up and doing theater... nothing else.
And the SOPI's were about expigurgitating catholic guilt and bullshit mind fuck doctrine and supporting other gays with humor and visitations and community services, when the AID's epidemic came out....
So they are not a catholic hate group - they are a bit of sanity in the sea of an evil mind fuck religion.
As for me - I live in a place filled with EVIL christian mind fuck head game playing cunts... and it was a natural choice.
However the organisations were formally many hundreds of KM's away, and my application to join, and all of that, never proceeded beyond a noveate of the lowest ranked nuns, and I could never get the outfits and stage makeup was kind of non existent, and the sisterhood fizzled out as aids treatments improved etc., so it was never much of an issue.
That was about 15 years ago. The main issue was to be my own person in the face of the evil small town christians... And to laugh at the cunts.
It was just too far away to participate in anything - but i achived the rank of Grand Master in terms of pressing christian's buttons......
