Thousands of hectares burnt in California

More than 3,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes in California due to a fast-developing oak fire. The blaze has burned almost 7,000 hectares in the area, damaging cars and houses, despite the efforts of firefighting teams struggling to contain the fire.
