Thousands try to flee from Lvov train station

Thousands of families assembled on overcrowded crowded platforms at Lvov rail station in west Ukraine. The station is located just 64km away from the Polish border, which many Ukrainians hope to cross to avoid the ongoing conflict.

Reporters claim that queues leading into the station were up to a quarter of a mile long as those looking to leave the city faced hours of waiting in the harsh winter weather.
