Removing all EUCALYPTUS trees - because they, and all their leaf litter and bark and dropped branches, ARE full of flammable oil - and plant a radiant heat barrier of barely flammable decidious trees.
Get in water tanks for a water supply and a fire fighting pump, with hoses - set up to run after long term storage.
Mow your lawns to the dirt, and keep ALL flamable shit well away from your house - don't keep 10 tons of dry firewood next to the back door....
Block your gutters and fill them with water.
Block all entrances to flying embers.
Put radiant heat barriers over your windows etc..
