@KEEPER: OK well if you want a Viking story without magic and fantasy overuse. There's Vinland Saga. It covers the Danish occupation of England in the Middle Ages. So it's similar to the show Vikings, but no gayness and feminism. First season is incredible. Second season isn't as strong because it focuses on the suffering of the main character. Still good though.

@KEEPER: I also learn things from anime because it's high IQ writing. Vinland Saga character eats a fly argria mushroom. The Mario mushroom. This was a real thing Viking berserkers did to get a high of battlelust and resistance to pain. I didn't even know this until Vinland Saga inspired me to investigate history. The character just eats a regular-sized mushroom by the way. The mushroom isn't the size of a yoga ball like Mario universe. He doesn't suddenly jump high or breathe fire. It just makes him go crazy with bloodlust.

@Toki: i don't read for enjoyment, i read to get by. even in Fallout when it's overused at best, i hate it in Fallout, but we tolerate it because sometimes it's the only way to figure something out, lol i was chatting with a modder about this a week ago, and even he admitted when it comes to terminal entries to much information is put in them to the degree that they are used to give further information of the plot or story, but he also knows most people just skip through them because they are annoying and people just want to find the needed dialogue that advances the quest to get back to playing the game, which i agree with fully, i tried to get into comics and books, and i always became overly annoyed because it's just not an element i like when it comes to a story, i do slightly better when it's just audio, but reading i often have issues with my own dyslexia and reading comprehension or i get lost in a thought from something outside of the story itself, i have ADHD i hate to admit this, because it puts me in the spectrum, but i can't deny the truth, reading is only fun in conversation for me, i don't read for fun in comics or books or even in games, i get no enjoyment from it. if i didn't have these issues, then maybe i would be able to enjoy it, but i often get annoyed when there are to many things to read, when i want to enjoy a story, i can't just do the reading because reading is considered work and not enjoyment, it's bad enough that my dyslexia gets in the way when i write and spell shit out and have to go back to make sure i wrote something write because i get a kind of OCD when i'm trying to clarify something i write, i hate it, but it's necessary in order to get the point across for folks to understand my points.

@KEEPER: Controller is easy. Just use x360ce. You can customize all the inputs also. I believe I used it for FO3. Classic Fallout has no controller that's true. Because it's more like chess gameplay of turn-based combat. Easy on the hands though because it's keyboard/mouse with a slow pace. The easy to use overhaul mods fix all the problems you mentioned and upscale the game's visuals. Allowing custom options of all types. Been a long time since I touched Morrowwind. I got lost when I was young because the game does not hold your hand. Which is a good thing. I would enjoy it today. Modding is easier in older games by the way. I also like how Daggerfall and Oblivion look. They have the old school rough look like Diablo 1 and 2 classic. I like this look instead of the new clean graphics. When it comes to HD games I mostly just care about something like Honey Select being state of the art hi res because it's waifu simulator. Like I said Star Wars trilogy classic is better than the other later films correct? Because of style and content, not flashy CGI graphics of Padme leap-frogging in a factory like a newer video game. @Toki: it's not easier to mod the older games from my findings, but like you and i said, i'm a baka apparently lol. btw i use a program that allows me to make custom bindings in games but the issue is that it only does that good movement when in specific situations, it's just done better when it's done by the game dev is what i'm saying, i use an application i purchased from 2015 called controller companion, and it works for all games, but it's still limited in functionality in older games, like i wanted to play elder scrolls Oblivion at one point and thought it would be easy since i knew how to mod skyrim as i have been doing it for years, boy was i wrong, that game is confusing to mod, almost non of the stuff i learned in skyrim modding really helped me much in order to figure out how to mod Oblivion, i did get my controller to work, but it was nowhere near as good as it was back when that game released on the old 360 back in the day, suddenly it was hard to deal with the stupid menus because the menus of that game were meant for stupid keyboard and mouse jesus fucking christ! like you had to pin point the controller curser directly on top of this stupid thing in the menu in order to scroll, like do you understand how damn near impossible that is with a controller especially with how fucking small that point was? it's fucking retarded impossible hard to be that precise with a controller, so that aspect was impossible to deal with, but everything else worked fine-ish, it was still difficult in some situations, but i just stopped playing, because it was just too difficult to deal with, i was too annoyed to continue any further because of these issues just kept coming up constantly. the difference between the older games and the slightly newer games is as Todd Howard often says, "it just works" although i would say that's an incomplete sentence, it's more like "it just works some of the time" that's more accurate in my understanding of these things.

@Toki: the pip boy mod just enhances the screen so you can actually view your pip boy screen details instead of how it was before, where it was too far away from your face so you could bearly read the pip boy information, i like it because i can actually see the details of the objects and actually read the text on the screen, i also use an addon for that mod that is called old school terminal which makes it so you can view a terminal in the same way the baka pip boy screen works, where it's full screen instead of a distance away from the text on the screen, it just makes it easier to read without lots of squinting and moving closer to your screen, it also bypasses bethesda's stupid slow as fuck animation to view the stupid terminal, like they thought that this stupid slow animation was ok to put into their game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXe5LT7n-jA this guy has this issue but he doesn't know about this baka mod or he's on console and can't get this mod.

@KEEPER: I see Riddick there is a GoG copy of the game. That game may be on GoG? Anyways yes it has GoG and other platforms besides just Steam. Also if your internet happens to go out for a day or something that game will still work. Unlike DRM. I assume as a modder you know 7zip and everything. That site is easy to use with zips and rar folders. I like the first and third Riddick film. Fallout vibes with Ridley Scott's Alien. I found the second film to be boring though. Oh man I want a Riddick anime now.

@Toki: i do have and use 7zip, i can't explain how it works or why it works i just know that it does lol, all i know is that it does the complicated shit that i cant figure out for me. don't know what a fat girl pack is or was it fitgirl i can't remember the terms you used, i came across some information on the site i was confused by in the installation instruction's they used something like _Redist or _CommonRedist like idk what the fuck this is or what it means, it's just confusing words on a screen to me.

@KEEPER: Remember piracy is a service problem. I just looked and Amazon doesn't have any copies for PC DVD. It got pulled from Steam apparently. People on GoG are requesting it. It must have on GoG at some time if the pirate version exists. It's not our fault these companies are incompetent and can't even host a master copy folder of one game product to sell due to licensing nonsense. F that corporate shit. Art is meant to be enjoyed not corporitized and removed from history like book burning.

@KEEPER: FitGirlRepacks is the site. That one is more complicated but I've used it before. CommonRedist is for Direct X packages and stuff like that. In case you don't have it. If the game runs and everything you don't need any Redist packages. I rarely do if ever had to use those. You can simply avoid unpacking the CommonRedist folders or delete them after unpacking. Unless you need a update for something but I doubt it. If you run Fallout 4 then this older game should be good to go. They add the CommonRedist folders for easy access. So you don't have to hunt it down online and download it. It's all freeware stuff anyways.

@Toki: damn dude, i don't mean to keep you up all night, and to be honest i really should have gone to bed already, but i kind of took an unscheduled nap earlier that was likely too long and i just can't sleep yet, but i'm going to take some pills and hopefully fall asleep.

@KEEPER: It should work without any GoG installed. It says on the page no GoG unless specified. Which it shouldn't. I never had to. You shouldn't need any launchers at all. Unless you add a mod launcher :)

@KEEPER: Riddick animation is Western animation. Not anime. Anime = Asian country. Japan, S Korea, and China make anime. Riddick looks dark and everything though. Looks good. The animated Suicide Squad original is really good = Assault on Arkham it's called. Batman Beyond and Batman the old animated series are also good. The thing is a modern show live action would be all CGI anyways. So animation is even better because the characters fit the background. Also animation female characters are sexier and more fun. Margot Robbie Harley? Yuck. Assault on Arkham Harley? Fun and cute. The classic Harley look, not the trailer trash rainbow Harley.

@Toki: right of course lol, mod launchers are pretty standard, you know i tried to mod a game without a mod manager and i found the process very messy and it was just too easy to mess something up drastically, so it's just much easier to use a mod manager. look i will admit, i prefer the easier installs over the more complicated shit, i like using vortex even though it's kind of limited in some ways to MO2 in how it functions, but i used MO2 for years and it was the hardest to figure out modding manager and i often got frustrated wanting to pull out my hair using that mod manager, because it was often too complicated for my small brain lol, i still feel like a noob even though i have been modding my skyrim and FO4 for over the last decade, like i'm slightly smarter than i was when i first got a PC, i mean i used to use straight up stupid steam workshop for all my mods, because it was easy to figure out and i didn't need to learn some complicated shit that took years to learn how to use, i hated the process of leaning how to mod using the nexus and the mod managers, but i will admit, many things have gotten easier with the help of the nexus modding community and their tools, i may not like their commi politics but their tools are the best that i know of and the support is the best as well, but i still feel like a moron who constantly needs help with some of these mod installations. often times i feel as if i'm limited to what i can learn to understand, but i know that's not the full truth, it's that for me shit just takes a lot longer to learn new things before i get the hang of it. like i can't figure out animation mods still, on skyrim they used this confusing as hell mod called FNIS, then they upgraded to a just as confusing mod called Nemisis, then there was this limited animation mod i used that was a bit easier to make work, but it was limited for a reason, but it was easier to install for someone like me who only understands so much. so i can learn new things, but that process just takes me ten times longer than other people.

@Toki: i liked both the original animated series of batman, everything else i pretty much ignored, and i liked some of the super hero stuff, but there is a lot of it i didn't really care all that much for, like i don't care about the justice league or the marvel stuff, i did watch the toby McGuire spider man movies haven't touched or seen the new stuff though. back when that movie came out i was more intrested in a tv show having to do with superman and i felt it was better than the movies, the show was called "Smallville" i know the show is kind of old and cringe nowadays, but it was a great show, this was back when movies didn't hold my grasp anymore, i just felt when it came to entertainment that it was much better done in a tv show, because there was more potential for more stories which meant more potential content. movies you can't really do this with, in most movies they have to make sure the movie has more action scenes or CGI to make the movie good, less dialogue more fight scenes, and tv shows just had a better build up than how modern movies were made. don't get me wrong i love action sequences, but i don't like when they last too long and for most movies, it's the entire movie, in a tv show they slowly build up to that finale showdown so it feels worth your time and money and you were able to enjoy far more story content than what was often found in movies. but don't get me wrong, i'm not saying all movies are trash, some of them have a great idea but i don't want to wait years and years for a Damn sequel, i would rather just binge watch it and watch multiple episodes in a single day if possible, the only way you can do this with movies is only when that movie and all it's sequels are out and you can watch them back to back.

@KEEPER: I can't stand Toby McGuire period. Such a pussy. At least that old Mary Jane is white and hot. Now she's black and ugly. I certainly don't watch those garbage live action films. My Hero Academia destroys all these American hero characters really. Plus tons of hot waifus. Heroes and villains.

@Toki: yeah toby doesn't please all tastes lol, i had no idea they race swapped Mary jane, fucking stupid Hollywood. although i can't say i hated Robert downy jr as iron man, i think he was a good role for that series. i heard he was also really big in the early 80s, but he ran into some real life stuff and became super depressed and got into drugs and drink himself into homelessness, but at some point like nothing had happened he rise up and somehow got out of the gutter and found his calling again in acting. it's been said that sometimes all it takes for someone to become the best of themselves is hard times in order to rebuild themselves back to the top, but idk how he even did this, because the older you get the harder that becomes and i have no idea how long he was on the streets.
