US criticizes Russia by bringing up West’s own colonialism

The US has taken part in a summit with African leaders for the first time in eight years. Not all African countries were invited to the summit – Guinea, Sudan, Eritrea, Mali and Burkina Faso didn’t receive an invitation either because of their suspension from the African Union, or because Washington has no diplomatic ties with them, according to a US official.

And, despite the event being focused on addressing issues affecting Africa today, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken didn’t miss the chance to criticize Russia.
