US played usual role of provocator in Georgia conflict - Medvedev

Abkhazia and South Ossetia are celebrating 15 years since they were recognized as independent states by Russia. Back in 2008, Moscow launched a five-day operation, in response to Georgia's invasion of South Ossetia.

RT and TASS correspondents sit down with then-Russian president Dmitry Medvedev, who ordered the decisive military intervention, and subsequent recognition of the two Caucasian republics.
