Sony is attempting to buy the Japanese company Kadokawa the anime company responsible for series like ToAru, Fate, The Saga of Tanya the Evil, Konosuba, The Eminence In Shadow, Overlord, ReZero, Cautious Hero, The Rising of the Shield Hero, Interspecies Reviewers, Redo of Healer, Immoral Guild, Gushing Over Magical Girls, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, and many other series as well as games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls

Damn... there's some good anime series I n that list!?!
That's why you pirate it before the purchase, if you can. That way, you can keep the originals around. Or buy it on physical media, if you can.
I don't believe they can do anything about the shows that are already out or coming out soon. What matters is the future and how Soyny will be involved trying to ruin everything.
Elden Ring already lacks the based male or female character creator option. It's already insane. Modern games are shit. Elden Ring female character creator need a serious improvement.
For the series of anime that are already out they will be preserved on piracy sites. In case Soyny tries to go back to Konosuba season 1 and censor anything.
I also do not buy Soyny anything. the Playstation became garbage with the PS3 product quality. Then they wanted a sub fee for PSN on PS4 lol. Piss off with that. I don't have to buy Amazon Prime or Soyny PSN to e-shop. I pirate games that are digital only anyways. Elden Ring for example is DRM-heavy and no disc that works offline. So I would only pirate it. It probably requires Steam which doesn't work on my old OS. Kadokawa needs to learn how to sell a product fairly. For example if you buy Konosuba anime discs you don't need an ethernet cable connected to anything? Correct? Why doesn't Elden Ring work in the same manner? Updates and patches can be optional on websites. Maybe a disc can't hold Elden Ring. Not my problem. They need to figure it out then. Maybe ship out small external hard drives with the game instead of CDs? Operating and manufacturing costs though right? Cut the corporate bloat who makes selfish decisions to screw us all. Also people need jobs to buy things. Digital media creates no extra jobs compared to CD manufacturing. While we don't get discs anymore they want you to buy the tacky $500 collector's edition with a plastic Estus Flask. They can make CDs or hard drive cartridges for F's sake if they can waste resources on plastic toys for children.
