Thanks for your comments. I'm not sure we are in disagreement. The law should prevent all people, groups, corporations, and governments from aggressing against any person or their property. Any such aggression amounts to a "victim crime" as there is a person who is harmed by that conduct. However, if there has been no trespass or fraud against another person or their property, people should be left alone to control their own property which includes their body, personal property, money, and time. This is the essence of freedom and of a free society. How people opt to peacefully use their property is up to them. This is the domain of morality that should not be enshrined into the law. While morality is important, we should seek to inspire others to be moral instead of attempting to force them to do so by wrongly incorporating it into the law.
