ya man,, we used to fly model airplanes at the seminole rc club.. Tallahassee is DEAD.. try Sonnys barbecue if you want to be blatantly ripped off and insulted.. lol.. and you did the right thing to go there.. FLORIDA govt.. ya I have been tempted to drive there after calling on the phone.. be patient though.. lol..
They have a few decent restaurants downtown, and motels are cheaper than they are in Jacksonville.
why don't they salt/sand the walkways at least?

Driving on ice..... The dirt roads around here are so greasy that even on a 1* degree slope to the side, the car will slide sidewards off the road, within it's own length.
AND I have had the car spin 90* within it's own length and aim for the drainage ditch on the side of the dirt road.. that's doing 20 Kmh....
Never driven across ice proper... snow yes...
