My Mum God rest her soul was Canadian Born, she came to England when she was I think 3 years old but she was Canadian all the same? Britian put a lot intoi Canada, The French gave Canada Garlic, and let's not forget the Native Indian peoples of Canada in all this development. My first Cousin was Canadian and live here, she was from Vancouver and quite often would go back for holiday's a preind of mine is from Halifax Nova'. Yep I've got connections and sympathy with the Canadian peoples.
Back in the 1980's i was a motorcycle curier in London amnd to old guys approached me as I was eating my burger and asked where the Hey Market was. so Itold them and then said politely well where in Canada are you from? they were stunned and asked how I nknew they were Canadian not American? it's in the subtle variations in speech and syntax that was built into my conscience i guess?
