I could believe it. There are parts of the Grand Canyon with Egyptian names, and I believe there is evidence of Romans or even more ancient Egyptians mining gold from a Great Lake island-- I want to say in Michigan or Wisconsin. We already have models capable of flight found in Ancient Egyptian tombs and pyramids.
@sithsith: There were two massive fires that consumed the Amerixas-- one was the metoerite inpact at th Yucatan and the other was one absorbed by the ice in Canada above the Great Lakes-- only evidenxe of the fire . NASA did experiments to determine if thick enough ice could hide a meteorite impact. Guess what, it could. As for where are the bodies, likely buried. There are special laws with the Native Americans: They will not allow any digging at "Native grave sites."
