@The Man Inside: yeah i understand, there are times i want to share his videos because sometimes he talks about important things that need to be listened to, but then the conversation goes into the sex doll stuff and i have to make the choice to not send them that video. the only way to do it right is to download his video and edit out the sex doll talk, then upload and share the link, but it's just too much work to do this and you end up talking yourself out of doing anything because it's too much work.

@KEEPER: There's a reason why I haven't uploaded anything mine for weeks. I had 2 or 3 videos, but I couldn't make them interesting, If any was at all, and I gave up on the idea. I had some good videos, but the time it takes to record, edit and post... it takes days, then 2 or 3 people view it... what's the point? I rather share the raw files with people I know.

@The Man Inside: yeah, your better off doing videos for youtube if you are willing to dedicate a few days editing a video, i'm not really adept in the editing and i do the most simple editing job that it's super sloppy in the end. sometimes i wish i had that kind of attention span, it's like modding a game, it takes a shit load of time to create a mod, and even then it might not be to everyone's liking so you end up doing the most simple mods because they are easier to install and are also easier to create.

@KEEPER: I don't want to feed the monster. Pootube is something I want to drop eventually. Watching I mean. Posting there... fuck them. There was a time I did some editing on Xbox games. But I realised I had more enjoyment playing than editing and then playing. I do enjoy programming, but robots. Something I haven't done in years. And now I want to go "middle ages". @The Man Inside: as much as i hate to say this, youtube is only for entertainment, so if you like watching gaming videos or stuff like this, that's the only reason to use youtube from a consumers perspective, however if you want to create content on the website , it's probably best to only do videos of entertainment and get away from the idea of posting anything political or controversial, this way if you want to use the platform to make money off of entertainment videos, than you could get away with it. and of course you can do anything from drone footage videos with some music playing the background to something relating to video games to movies and such. political videos just get demonetized and it puts a stain on your channels growth, so it's best to stick to entertainment.

@KEEPER: I don't do politics, religion nor sports. I don't believe in any. I mainly use the tube for music. It's easy, and I can cast it to my sound system from the phone. And some other video on car/motorcycles. Everything else I have little to no patience. Lately a shit ton of Minecraft videos are being suggested to me. I've never, ever seen a Minecraft video.

@The Man Inside: yeah, youtube likes to suggest shit sometimes, the algorithm is trying to expand your horizons of entertainment for you to consume. every once in a while my feed gets random shit like this thrown into my view, i just click the 3 dots and choose the one that says i'm not interested, but they eventually come back and recommend that shit again, but it was worse when they decided to put the covid shit in the feed all the time and i always clicked off of it, in fact i got so sick of seeing it at one point i didn't want to see the home screen so i bookmarked my subscriptions because it was getting really annoying to see the stupid promoted establishment covid videos all the damn time.

@WMHarrison94: the problem with alt tech is that it almost always is beat by big tech because that's where all the advertisers go, which is the reason why we need to create a parallel economy on these platforms, because the way it is now is very stagnant and it is literally depending on it's own audience to keep it afloat. i have tried to convince this kind of idea to Amr of this website, but he says nobody wants to do business with him, which could be the truth, but i just think he's not trying hard enough. i have given him multiple ideas to help in this regard, but he's just not that interested. a few months ago he was talking about how almost full the server is getting and he will have to move onto a larger more expensive server as time goes on, but then he suddenly started cloning channels content onto the site, i assume he did this because he wanted to keep the viewership here, but this website in many ways is stagnating and not improving and nor is it getting anywhere with the financial side of things, i really don't want this website to suffer like this, because at some point he will not be able to continue to hold this line. as far as i know we are still using paypal to make money on the site, that is stagnation especially since there other payment processors out there that are dedicated to free speech that he's simply ignoring right now, i sent him a link on this, he never replied. i don't know what his plans are for the website as a whole., but if he doesn't do something about lack of money, this titanic will hit that wall of ice and it will crash and go downhill from then on out.
