this video is not just about video games, it's about how predatory every company plan on becoming in the near future, and the importance of knowing about it.
I've heard the publishers refer to it as "Let's go whaling" at least as it refers to the video game industry.

Ironically I find the infestation of Manscaped ads to equally worrying and revolting.
And companies do upsells and sunscriptions because dummies buy them. No other reason.
